So good. The two acoustic renditions of I Know I Will Escape and Kid Klimax are spot on.

Ruben and Nightwork are far apart musically, and they're the best two tracks on the EP.

benwayshouse, your av is adorable. My Neighbour Totoro is simply lovely. Did you see Ponyo? Kind of let down IMO.
Sometimes I wonder whether or not I love all this music out of bias, but honestly, Logos IS a great record. And it's funny that Bradford said in that NOISEVOX interview, "the songs you don't love at first end up being your favourites" or something to that effect, because with Logos I think I was under-whelmed at first, but now...

my neighbor totoro is probably my favorite movie ever. i loved it so much when i was younger. but no, i haven't seen ponyo yet. they advertised it pretty heavily where i live, yet no theaters anywhere in my home state carried it. :/ i want to, though.
i agree that logos isn't really striking at first. i wouldn't say i was underwhelmed at first listen, but logos definitely doesn't have the same qualitites of its predecessor that made me say, "hey, that's cool, and i like that." now, i think the album works better with them intact. they have to be there; it wouldn't be the same without it.

I'd say Logos was actually far more accessible and 'obvious' at first. To me, Let The Blind... is the lesser album between the two. The more I listen, the less I like that album, to be honest.

I think the more I listen to Logos the more I appreciate and love both. Logos more though.

Wow. My family hasn't heard of Deerhunter or AS. My brother has because I always talk about the two. Hell, my whole school doesn't know who any of them are.
