edit: i want a new amp.. my practice one is just grating on the ears as of late. i haven't really gotten to try any out besides a line 6 spyder 3 that belongs to my brother, and guitar center generally showcases those exclusively where i go. i found this on ebay and it seems reasonable. based on this article, it seems like i would like it. i say this having no knowledge of amps, though. all i want is an amp that's a step above practice; i don't want to spend a lot of money, either, but i may have to bite my tongue and do it anyway. do you think that's a good idea?

oh but you want something a step above practice. well. 30-watt wise, i alwayz kind of wanted an Orange Crush 30R. it is $219 new but i doubt you could find one used for cheaper. only thing is, i have heard people rag on it becuz it is Korean Made.
also Orange-wise, if you want to take a set-up above that, i have seen the Orange Tiny Terrors go progressively down in price recently & i think $350 a decent used price. of course you'd need an extension cab or 1X12 something but i have heard people rave and rave about their Tiny Terrors.
also troll craigslist for cheap Peavey combos.

With a bit of haggling anywhere from £60 to £100.

Got it and it's mega fun!
I'd really like to turn it full volume but it's way too loud. I'll try and mic it up through my microverb at some point too, already did through my flanger hoax and it was amazing.

Discovered that my microverb actually is fucked, shit! I'll try and phone up in the next couple of days to see what they can do, massive downer though.
I also just discovered (well probably not really) a pretty rad sound: lots of distortion (preferably fuzz), pretty big sweeping flange & minimal ping-pong reverse delay. It's pretty mental, imagine that through some reverse reverb though, fuck!

People with samplers: how do you use it? What do you like to do with it? Which one do you have?
Other than triggering shit I made with Ableton, I have no clue how I would use one.
