Marc Hogan has reviewed every Deerhunter, Atlas Sound or Lotus Plaza release. When people say "Pitchfork gave DH's new EP 7.5", really it's just Marc Hogan listening to a new Deerhunter or DH-related release. It's this one guy every time. Has anyone else noticed?

yeah. he's a super nice guy! we are tumblr friends and he reblogs most things i say about deerhunter. luff him.

He did shed some light on the board when it did The Fanlight Collective (tribute album vol. 1).

made a crap cover of Disappearing Ink a couple minutes ago..

looking back i probably should've used some delay and toned down the distortion on the guitar, as well as another vocal take, but hey

What is your guys' favorite song off the EP?

I'd have to say right now it's Game of Diamonds.

Game of Diamonds always makes me want to listen to Harvest(the entire album) by Neil Young. Dunno why.

The ending guitar part from Circulation is the bit that always gets stuck in my head though.

Review: http://www.independent.ie/entertainment ... 54856.html

"Bradford Cox, Deerhunter's lead singer and songwriter, might just be the last surviving member of a vanishing tribe: the limelight-craving indie pop eccentric. Throughout a short, colourful career the Atlanta, Georgia, native has cultivated a reputation for idiosyncratic behaviour to rival Morrissey, Kurt Cobain or The Falls' Mark E Smith".

Umm what the fuck?

Just realized at 3:30 of Circulation you can hear Porky Pig stuttering.

Someone was talking about a new deerhunter shirt with the RCE album art on it in a show review I read the other day. Has anyone seen this?

i think that claim is complete balderdash. but i think the "increasing accesible" claim is certainly not w/o merit.

(no i am stonesoberstein.)

• operative term: "last surviving tribe.

• operative key word: "vanishing."

Yeah, they sold it at the concert in Amsterdam. I am sorry that I cannot remember exactly how it looked......... I think it was dark bleu with a light bleu illustration of the sleeve.
They sold three different shirts. ( Weird Era, RCE and this one http://i35.tinypic.com/2zznr49.jpg
which illustration I copied from the swag topic.)
