I'm pretty happy Deerhunter are playing Street Scene. It means I don't have to drive and get a hotel for Outside Lands. Sad I won't get to see Beastie Boys and a few others, but It's cool having them half an hour away rather than 7 hours.

Also, I should have a friend from Siberia coming with me, who is a huge Deerhunter fan. Can't wait!

I pre-ordered from Insound who claimed to be releasing it on or before the 8th. I really wish they would send out emails to customers about pre-orders getting delayed.

I just checked Insound 5 minutes ago for the same reason. I'm also waiting on the cassette from Rough Trade. Then again, last time I ordered from Rough Trade it took them over 1 month to even charge my card, and they ignored my request to cancel the order after I was tired of waiting for 3 weeks. There is a lack of Rainwater in my home! =I

Listening to the LP now! Got this and the CD today (along with a Songs split 7")

Two things - theres a fuckup on the cover. For me at least. The U in Under License From Deerhunter Music Group is faded and missing. On the CD and the vinyl.

Also, Bradfords wearing the CATS tshirt in the liner notes. I've fuckin' seen that thing in person, man!
