i'd go for the music, too. i wouldn't care what ian sang like if they played punchier songs like "over the wall"... at that point i'd be too busy being consumed by the percussion.

i signed up for battle of the bands today that's being held at my school. i have no fucking clue how i'm going to play my tracks live yet. need to add temporary lyrics.
i think with the three tracks i have so far, along with the game of diamonds cover, i'd have a solid four tracks. i have an unreasonable amount of demos but they're no where near ready. i feel those four tracks are a little slow, so i'll probably throw in a faster track to end the set. i hope i get picked though. there's 8 bands applying (now nine with me) and they want six. i think all the other bands are rock bands; my tracks are going to be way different when compared to theirs.

i hope you do well, too.

i went to school today, though it was only a teacher work day. i spun my aforementioned us history teacher some records. he said deerhunter sounded like syd barrett in a way. he's also a massive fan of XTC, which is really awesome.
