Not to get super-personal, but I've been wondering how many, if any members of this group are gay or bisexual or anything. I've always kind of wondered if Bradfords' sexuality has anything to do with the attraction of fans to the Atlas Sound / Deerhunter canon. I'm gay, and though I don't consider it to be a major factor in my life nor do I identify by my sexuality like some people do, finding out about Bradfords' sexuality after I started listening to AS / DH made me feel like I could relate to him and his music on this whole other weird level that I've never really had with any other band or music before. He's really made me feel more comfortable with my sexuality, I guess. I don't know if anyone else here can relate or if I'm just fucked up.

i'm not gay, though a lot of bullying a few years ago made me wonder if i was.
i think i'm actually asexual (which, in my experience, is.. a bit weirder to people than being homosexual), but regardless, all of deerhunter's songs have made me more comfortable with who i am as well.

 man i was wondering when someone was FINALLY going start this thread. i don't wanna call out no names, but i think many "new" DH fanz are extreme prudes, benign homophobes or like one step away from being young republicans. not hatin'. just sayin'...
